53233 Ophthalmic Equipment


The awarding authority wish to purchase a phacoemulsifier and vitrectomy system for the ophthalmic theatre. The phacoemulsification system must be capable of small incision cataract surgery and suitable for high volume cataract surgery. Ideally, it should have a built in anterior vitrectomy unit. The vitrectomy system should be suitable for all posterior segment and vitreoretinal surgery. Laser systems are not required.
