Boddingtons Technical Plastics

Established in 1938, Boddingtons is part of a privately owned group with a turnover in excess of £250 million this means financial stability and investment is assured.

To continue its ongoing sales growth and expansion, the company moved during 2005 to purpose built premises of 67,000 sq ft in Marden, Kent - offering easy access to motorways, airports and the Channel Tunnel. Boddingtons turnover is 9 million and employs 90 staff and has 18 machines at its disposal.
Our business is to provide a 'one stop shop' service to companies who demand high standards of quality, precision and aesthetic appearance. Added value services include ultrasonic and hot plate welding; pressure testing; manual and electro-mechanical assembly, and pad, hot foil or silk screen printing. The latter can be performed as an automated part of the production process or separately on finished products for lower volume projects. We are approved to ISO 9001:2000.

Our tool and component design is carried out in-house using Unigraphics Software. Tool manufacture is project managed by our dedicated technical team utilising lower cost sources where applicable. We have a seat of Moldflow and utilise Pro-op software to ensure we supply 'right first time' tooling and process capable components. The skilled, flexible workforce operates 24 hours a day on moulding machines ranging from 40-850 tonnes, all presses over 70t have CNC robotics to ensure the highest possible quality and utilisation is achieved at all times. We process most types of thermoplastic materials, producing volumes ranging from less than a hundred to millions per annum.
Continued investment in the latest technology to test and monitor materials and processes ensures compliance from delivery of raw materials to despatch of finished products.
