MISSION TO AAPS, ATLANTA, USA

The trade mission will focus on a high-level networking reception at the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia. AAPS is the premiere gathering of thought leaders, scientists, investors, researchers and business executives in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, drug delivery, biomanufacturing, and industrial biotechnology. This year’s conference will present the latest issues, innovations, market achievements and policy developments in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. AAPS is the world’s largest gathering of pharmaceutical scientists; over 8.000 attendees representing worldwide companies and organisations. UKTI will be arranging a cocktail reception on Tuesday 18th Nov 2008, showcasing the UK mission companies and their service offerings to current and potential clients. In addition, an invitation and mission brochure will go out to conference attendees in advance of the meeting. Venue and exact timings TBA.

UK Trade & Investment welcomes applications from companies who feel they have the appropriate profile to succeed in the US market. As space is very limited, all applicants will be screened for suitability and will be required to sign up for the UK Trade & Investment Overseas Market Introduction Service (OMIS). This service will provide marketing activities associated with the conference including inclusion in the UKTI AAPS Mission brochure and attendance for your company, clients, and guests at the UKTI reception on 18th Nov.
