Laser technology is vitally important in the micro and emerging nanoengineering fields, providing high-resolution, accuracy, speed and flexibility. Laser technology is a key technology in innovative products used in many sectors.
This one-day meeting at Aston Science Park is to highlight the opportunities for funding in the application of laser technology to High Value manufacturing and other funding calls. The scope of the meeting includes presentations from key funding sources as well as case studies illustrating successful projects in previous calls. The day comprises presentations about funding calls through the Technology Strategy Board, FP7 and the EPSRC.
